Susan Vaughn Endowed Scholarship Supports DePauw Students on Life's Journey

Susan VaughnSusan Vaughn appreciates DePauw University for the well-rounded education she received and continues to draw on in both her personal and professional lives. She counts among the numerous highlights of her college experience her junior year studying in Avignon, France, and her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, through which she developed many lifelong friendships. After graduating in 1973 with a French degree, she entered the business world. Five years later, armed with a M.B.A. degree from Indiana University, she continued to build a distinguished career in the life sciences industry. Her study abroad as a DePauw student was just the beginning of frequent travels for both pleasure and business. She traveled extensively in her executive roles with Mead Johnson Nutritional Group, most recently as director, Open Innovation. Currently, she works for the State of Indiana, serving as director, Southwest Region, Indiana Economic Development Corporation. Vaughn’s DePauw liberal arts experience has allowed her to lead a fulfilling life and achieve her career goals. Her generous gifts to establish the Susan Vaughn Endowed Scholarship help ensure that academically gifted students from all backgrounds have an opportunity to pursue their dreams at DePauw and thereafter.
